just like the movie

you captured the flow, dialogue, credibility, and genius comedic timing of the movie
Its a shame that's really, really not a compliment

You need to work on your comedic timing, and flow of script. You had some good ideas in there, but the whole thing just kind of stumbled along akwardly, destroying the good material you had. Also, background music helps more than you may expect

A nice try, but too clumsy to be very enjoyable

Most enjoyable: makes me smile every time

Well animated, well drawn, well scripted, humorous, delightful...what more could one ask for?
Its very interesting, how this movie has blown many peoples ignorance right out into the open, and doubly so, as in both this, and step 1, there is a statement or several about what all your bad reviews boil down to: acceptance.
Some people think that anything that puts you in a good mood without getting someone hurt physically and emotionally is homosexual (somehow), some people think that just because the author of a work doesnt speak english, or use western themes and media, it doesnt deserve to be apreciated

well, thats just the way the world is. Let them, think that, just dont let them walk over anyone with those views.

Very nicely done

A neat idea, and well done from start to finish despite the short cuts you took (walk cycle, ect).
That said, I beleive that the movie would have had a greater effect if you had used slapstick violence, rather than blood and death. With your style of art, and the mood of your backdrops, a set of whirling stars would have fit in far better than a pool of blood.
As well, the ending was very bland. I was waiting for something interesting to happen to draw it to a satisfying finish, but instead, he simply died out in the desert. That is your choice as the author, but it was a very un-interesting one.

allow me to close on a more positive note: the drawings were exellent, and the music, while simplistic, fit very nicely (though a little variation would have complemented the piece)

Nicely done
keep up the good work

ah...

"based" on true events...I dont even see movies in theatre if I can avoid it...you put your finger on why.

a nice job..

but as you could gather from my review of the trailer, I despise stick flicks, especially when theyre done by someone with enough talent to make real movies, but Ive already said that before.
A nice job on whats their, just a few little physics errors (like dumbass's leaping over the crate). Also, the round is a terrorist win: the bomb was planted, and no CT's were left to disarm. It doesnt matter if there are any T's left alive as long as the bomb goes off.
Oh, and why did Camper shank that one guy? He could have just sniped him, and the guy after...

vote on quality, not length?

im sorry, but length is part of quality.
What you have is nice, but you dont have much.

ive seen worse

and just when you think the spin-off couldnt any more blatant..
enter Goku!

thats where the 5 humor comes from

shows amazing promise

this is just seeping with talent...STOP WAISTING YOUR TIME WITH STICK FIGURES!
Seriously...youve got the skillz. Use real models for animation. stick figures detract heavilly from the potential here

WX responds:

Don't worry, i will not use sticks after i finish the full version of DE_dust. Thanks anyways!

as a movie, average, for what it was trying to do

your evidence on the sides is more or less sound, aside from that Bush declared an ultimatanium (sp?) on Iraq before launching the invasion. Ive also heard that he doesnt officially blame the islams, but that doesnt matter...the people act as if he did anyway.
Its just a pity that statements always fall on either deaf, or already knowledgable ears. Nice try though. Though you should have used a better title to get more people to watch before hitting the 0 button. I gave you a five to counteract such.

just...perfect

thats all there is to it. This is perfect. Short, heartwarming, well animated, flows beatifully, and theres an interactive element, plus easter eggs
well done. very, very well done.

oh...I found the hidden clothes, made the screen hand-drawn, moved the torch (was that intentional?), and made that horrible piano sound...I miss anything?

gel responds:

Thanks, perfect is hard to come by!

Yes the moving torch is intentional. You only missed the one everyone seems to have missed (at least they didn't mention they found it). It's a keyboard easter egg. Good luck!

My camera sucks, so I resort to cheap photoshop tricks. Sheer Genius.
